chinese new year. i see i see.
this year, my dad didnt come back from where he is outstationed, tch. too hard at work.
never mind:) i still love my parents alot:)
so i spent the eve, first day, second day and third day of the new at my grandparents place. everyday everyday.
i was fine on the eve and first and then i over ate. ate a wrong combination of food and was in the UTMOST discomfort of food poisoning on the second day.
the third day, Today, started of with an unexplainable headache. ughhh
anyway. i spoke to one of my friends today and i was excitedly probing her new-found experience as an student somewhere besides the puny dot in this globe.:)
i am really excited for her!:)
and yea.. school hasnt started so no friends as yet can be the loneliest thing but luckily she has a fellow schoolmate with her:)
my friend spoke abt skype, i told her tonnes of my stuff and we twirled to the topic of the missing home. she spoke that she misses us, her close dear friends (i can imagine her rolling her eyes), and her new found companion (i dont know if she'll kill me, but oi, i no mention names hor and i got quite a number of friends departing for exchange this semester)
so my mind wondered to somewhere around this topic, (while waiting for her answers to my numerous continous questions online.. huuhuu)
about relationships. i mean. to many of my friends who had to have long distance relationship (inclusive of those in tekong and whereever else there are camps), it is almost guaranteed that they will have a hard time, especially when they have to separate in the beginning.
Then why the hurry to start?
of course I cna understand:) the "sweet" feelings that appeals for the start of the relationship and just that spur of the moment when one side musters enough courage to profess and ask.
but as said, a spur of the moment.
if the separation was definite to be long, then of course it doesnt make a difference.
however, i think if the separation is to be short, then maybe they could have spoke about their feelings and maybe start a little later?
why plough the originally supposedly honey dripped intial time with missing thoughts?
but i know i know i would not understand..:)
but i am still happy for my friends who have found their companions,the right one they know for the time being:)
i am still searching!!~~whee~~
maybe when finally one comes knocking onto my door i will be able to understand:)
but single is really a rather good choice for a person like me with weird perspectives especially in relationship issues..
